EU Plug Power Watt Volt Amp Energy Meter

I bought this for alixpress this seller. The shipment was extremely fast (shipped the same day). I received it in within 10 days.

This is an excellent product, I test it against a number of devices and it gave pretty accurate reading. It does have one big snag, that is it display has no back light. The display although sharp   is hard to read at an angle, which usually is the case as you have to look at an angle at the device. So you really have to carry a torch with you to read its value. Apart from that it is a perfect device.

I tested it against a number of devices, some of which were totally surprising to me.

1. 0.5 watt bulb was read at 0.7 watt which accurate
2. TestedIron, was rated around 1800 Watts
3. Tested my 14" TV in standby, was consuming 9W!! That was surprising.
4. Tested my 25" Sony Trinitron TV (CRT), was consuming 30W!!! Very surprising.
5. Refrigeration was rated 8W, when door was opened, it went to 24W, when I turned the thermostated to high, it went to 1200W.

Overall I would highly recommend it. It definitely will get its money back but it does have that disadvantage, it is hard to read!
