Reason for Visit: Review: Assalam o Alaikum
Sir on 30th june , i import 2 marble blocks from Afghanistan and i got the GD of amount Rs. 293659.
Now my clearing and forwarding asking me Rs 307000. The difference is about 14000.
I asked him why are you asking 14000 extra. He is saying this extra amount is for CESS duty. I said if there is CESS duty then why is not mentioned in GD.
Please clarify CESS duty still exist or not? Because last month i got FBR notification that there is no more CESS duty.
